CBT Technology Institute is seeking a motivated and student-focused Career Services & Placement Officer to support students and graduates in achieving their career goals. This position plays a key role in connecting graduates with employment opportunities, developing employer partnerships, and helping students successfully transition from training to the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide career coaching, job search assistance, and interview preparation to students and graduates.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers in the skilled trades, and technical industries.
- Coordinate employer visits, hiring events, career fairs, and recruitment activities.
- Assist students with resume development, job applications, and professional skills training.
- Track placement activities and employment outcomes in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with academic and admissions teams to support student success and retention.
- Conduct follow-up outreach to graduates and employers regarding employment opportunities and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in career services, workforce development, recruiting, staffing, admissions, student services, or a related field.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
