Responsibilities
- Perform field service work on electrical equipment across assigned projects
- Deliver technical solutions directly to customers on-site
- Handle complex engineering assignments including equipment/product design, testing, process studies, and research investigations
- Apply expertise in: Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, and Protection & Control Design
- Generate timely, accurate service reports covering work performed, product performance, and warranties
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED 2 years of electrical or mechanical industry experience; OR completion of an accredited trade school/program 5 years evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (now or in the future)
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to obtain/maintain a valid TWIC card and DOT non-CDL qualification (if required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- 1 year of field service experience with electrical distribution or control systems
- Electrical or General Contractor's License
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- Experience with power quality measurements, protective relay testing/troubleshooting
- NICET/NETA certification

Work Conditions / Requirements:
- Variable hours including nights and weekends; travel within district/state/region as required

- Exposure to extreme weather, noise, poor lighting/ventilation, and dust possible
- Must comply with client safety programs and pass periodic background/drug screenings
