Bilingual Portuguese Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP CCC), Evaluations
CBS Therapy is currently seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Per Diem placement to conduct evaluations!
We greatly appreciate the individuals that we work with and like to ensure that every CBS employee feels valued and supported at all times.
Basic Functions
- Diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Culturally and linguistically responsive testing
- Timely documentation and reporting
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (CF) through ASHA
- DOE Certification or DOH State Licensure
- Bilingual in Portuguese
Responsibilities
- Administer evaluations in home, clinical, and/or school-based settings
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports and submit them in a timely manner
- Determine need for additional assessment based on observation and individual child needs
- Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations
- Submit student and client records to the agency within established deadlines
