Responsibilities
- Maintain safety procedures by handling cleaning equipment and supplies according to company protocol
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
- Gather and empty trash; replace liners
- Cleaning and stocking restrooms, break rooms, and other areas as instructed
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Polish windows and frames; other surfaces as assigned
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and other duties as outlined in the scope of work
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Proven working experience as a janitor
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.24 per hour
