Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
- Safely handle chemical agents used for cleaning and sanitation following all chemical handling safety procedures.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning operations.
- Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects that may require specialized techniques or equipment.
- Ensure all cleaning activities adhere to sanitation standards and health regulations to promote a safe environment.
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures.
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all safety protocols related to chemical handling safety procedures.
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing or walking.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and cleanliness.
- Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff or visitors.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety guidelines.
