Janitorial Cleaners needed…. Fulltime – Laredo, Texas
CBS Building Maintenance is looking for reliable janitorial cleaners to work 7days a week 2 buildings one is 5 days a week and the other is days a week at a CPKC Railroad yard. You will work successfully with fellow employees, clients, and all levels of the organization. You are expected to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written; and explain how to complete a task using basic communication skills.
Key Accountabilities
Vacuuming
Edging
Dusting
Cleaning and stocking restrooms and breakrooms
Window cleaning
Emptying trash and transporting to proper disposal area
Sweeping and mopping floors
May perform other duties as assigned
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequently lift 0-50 pounds
- Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
Success Criteria
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Familiarity with Materials and Data Sheets
- Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
- Maintain clean work area
- Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Communicate with the lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers professionally
- Fill in during staff shortage
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand reporting systems and the environment
