About the role

Constructs or installs a variety of refrigerated and non-refrigerated structures. They typically work with a team under the direction of the Projects Supervisor or Foreman. Regularly engages with the Lead Installer to coordinate the successful completion of jobs. Communicates with other departments as needed to facilitate workflow. Works closely with the clients meet their needs. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

➢ This person will support projects while maintaining safety and installation standard operating procedures.

➢ Work to include the construction of prefabricated cold rooms, environmental rooms, warming ovens and similar products along with their related mechanical systems. Installation projects may also

include freeze driers, sterilizers, autoclaves, ice machines, incubators and other similar scientific appliances.

➢Occasionally work under limited supervision and is encouraged to operate as a point of contact for the customer for a portion of a given project.

➢ Assist other technicians and staff as needed.

➢ May work scheduled and unscheduled overtime as needed. Will occasionally be required to work on location involving overnight stays.

➢ In addition to the duties described above, the incumbent may be required to perform related tasks to meet current contingency and/or mission requirements.

➢ Understands customer needs and works with customers to guide them towards the best solutions.

Personnel Interaction and Support:

➢ Supports Projects Supervisor, Project Engineer and Field Installers as needed.

➢ Discuss and resolve support issues with manufacturers (RMAs, C/Os, etc.) as needed.

➢ Collaborates with Supervisor and others to prioritize customer and business requirements.

Skills Proficiency:

➢ Good communication and client relationship management.

➢ Use of manufacturing tools

➢ Brazing, welding and some sheet metal work

➢ Control wiring and schematic reading

➢ Learn the controls associated with Controlled Environment Rooms.

➢ Set & mount condensing units.

➢ Bend and run electrical conduit.

➢ Hang evaporation coils, room lighting and wire and control panels.

➢Complete interconnect wiring.

Customer Service:

➢ Process customer feedback and report the same to Project Supervisor whenever received.


What you’ll need

  • High School Diploma and/or four years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience. Completion of Cascade Thermal Solutions training program is a plus. Previous coursework and experience with refrigeration and HVAC/Refrigeration also nice to have.
  • Basic-moderate experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet functions, tablet use, cell Phone apps is required.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $103,833 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $118,809 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.

Salary : $103,833 - $118,809
