Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Plattsburgh, NY, for a Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager will oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the facility, ensuring that it meets safety, compliance, and operational standards. Responsibilities include managing service contracts, supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, optimizing interior and exterior facility systems, and developing preventative maintenance plans. The Facilities Manager will also work closely with vendors, manage budgets, and ensure excellent service delivery to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Facility management experience, including oversight of vendors and maintenance teams
- Knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and mechanical operations
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and cost-saving measures
- Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and provide excellent customer service
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with health, safety, and compliance regulations related to facilities management
- Relevant certifications such as FMP, CFM, or PMP are a plus
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
