What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position at CBRC Health & Wellness?
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to keep our fitness club and its surrounding grounds in excellent condition for members and staff. This position ensures that all facility systems, fitness equipment, pools, and outdoor areas are safe, clean, and fully functional. - Inspect, maintain, and repair fitness equipment, locker rooms, pools, and common areas.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and building systems.
- Complete light carpentry, painting, drywall, and general building repairs to maintain facility appearance and function.
- Maintain landscaping and outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, irrigation checks, leaf removal, and general grounds upkeep.
- Monitor pool and spa systems, including water chemistry and filtration, to meet health and safety standards.
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs throughout the facility. * Keep accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs. * Maintain clean and organized maintenance and work areas.
- Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
