Community Broadband Networks (CBN) is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) dedicated to expanding affordable, high-speed internet to underserved communities. As we grow our broadband construction projects, we are seeking a Construction Bookkeeper to support financial tracking, payroll processing, job costing, and reporting tied to active field operations.

As our Construction Bookkeeper, you’ll help ensure projects stay financially accurate and compliant by managing payroll entries, vendor payments, subcontractor documentation, and job cost reporting — especially on prevailing wage and grant-funded work.
Responsibilities
● Lead the development and execution of a scalable marketing and sales plan for all CBN entities/ territories, overseeing initiatives across regions to ensure consistency and alignment with company objectives.
● Serve as the primary point of contact and interface with the state and municipal government organizations, focusing on developing and launching services in new target areas
● Hire and onboard new staff as needed to support growing marketing and sales needs.
● Train employees across multiple regions, may be required to travel to our other offices located in upstate NY for multi overnight stays (travel expenses covered), to ensure consistent execution of marketing strategies and high-quality customer engagement.
● Manage digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, text message marketing, and social media, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals
● Coordinate with marketing assistants to schedule customer outreach, events, and follow-up activities; monitor performance and ensure alignment with marketing goals and customer engagement strategies. ● Overall responsible for all sales and marketing employees.
● Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and optimize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across all channels
● Manage resident engagement plans, building events, property management onboarding, and compliance with program-specific marketing requirements. ● Lead the end-development of CBN's marketing strategy across all states and deployment types. ● Build market-specific campaigns based on community needs, competitive dynamics, infrastructure type, and deployment stage.
● Lead all sales and marketing staff, including canvassing teams, field agents, inside sales, marketing coordinators, and digital staff across all CBN regions.
● FWA launch teams for tower activation
● Fiber launch teams for newly lit rural or suburban fiber zone
● MDU engagement teams for retrofit buildings
● Develop training modules, sales scripts, door-knocking strategies, multilingual materials, and resident presentation templates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
- At least 3 years of experience managing sales and/or marketing efforts
- Experience with CRM or point-of-sale systems
- Bilingual abilities (especially valuable in diverse communities)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
