Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced as Business Development Manager with a strong background in the Manufacturing domain to drive new client acquisition across the IT Services and Staffing landscape in the United States. The ideal candidate will have proven success in selling IT consulting, contract staffing, permanent hiring, and project-based solutions to manufacturing organizations.
This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and growing revenue through strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients within the Manufacturing sector across the US market
- Sell IT services, IT staffing, engineering staffing, and workforce solutions to manufacturing clients
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events
- Develop relationships with CXOs, VPs, Directors, HR, Procurement, and Hiring Managers
- Understand client requirements and propose customized IT and staffing solutions
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closures
- Collaborate with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure successful fulfillment
- Track sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline using CRM tools
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue and client acquisition targets
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 years of business development or sales experience in IT services and/or staffing
- Strong exposure to the Manufacturing industry (automotive, aerospace, Defense, industrial, electronics, etc.)
- Proven experience bringing net-new clients in the US market
- Solid understanding of contract staffing, full-time hiring, and IT consulting models
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with US clients and understanding US hiring practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network of manufacturing clients or decision-makers
- Experience selling engineering, IT, automation, ERP, or digital transformation services
- Familiarity with MSP/VMS environments
- Strong CRM and sales reporting experience
