Position Details:
Job Title: Avionics Technician
Location: Mountain View, CA
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Job Description & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of avionics experience required, 5 years preferred
- Experience with avionics/electrical systems installation and troubleshooting
- Experience with wire harness fabrication, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional testing
- Previous cockpit avionics retrofit experience preferred
- Knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, ESC, BMS, and batteries
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing avionics/electrical systems
- Proficient with multimeters, crimpers, high-voltage testers, torque wrenches, and calibrated tools
- Previous installation team leadership experience preferred
- Familiarity with Google Suite and other basic technology tools
- Ability to obtain a DOT driver’s license
- FAA A&P License preferred
- Background check and drug screening required
