Role: Aircraft Structures Sheetmetal Technician
Location: Mansfield, TX
POSITION SUMMARY: Fabricate, install, assemble, and repair both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces on VIP aircraft.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Read, interpret, and understand blueprints and other documents to accurately determine the work steps to be performed including correctly sizing and drilling holes for riveting.
- Rivet sheet metal and components parts utilizing properly tagged and identified tools.
- Aligns and assembles parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners.
- Observes company rules and regulations including housekeeping, proper use of safety methods, and the safe operation of equipment.
- Ensure regulatory documentation is complied with and completed in a timely fashion in accordance with the RSQM and other quality standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:
- High school diploma or GED. Relevant trade school attendance is a plus.
- structures installation experience preferably in the corporate aviation completion environment.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $26.43 - $30.00 per hour
