Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Under direct supervision, provides support to internal teams and agencies
- Conduct billing audits to ensure clients are being billed in a timely and accurate manner based on services
- Conduct client audits to review data for deficiencies or errors
- Input data into the software within the required deadlines accurately
- Record necessary changes/updates as appropriate
- Ensure all internal controls and procedures are followed for accuracy
- Assist the team with customer service needs according to commitments and standards set forth by the department
- Work to understand new department processes, procedures, and/or programs
- Effectively operate all department equipment
- Assist internal and external clients with requests and problems in a timely manner
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Billing or Finance Experience
- Analytical skills are necessary for interpreting billing data, identifying trends, and generating reports
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the insurance industry.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise.
- Proficient use of applicable technology.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
