Essential Functions And Primary Duties
- Process Management: Oversee the entire end-to-end accounts payable and T&E process, from invoice receipt to payment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor and train the Accounts Payable and T&E team
- Accuracy and Timeliness: Ensure all invoices and expense reports are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies.
- Compliance & Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws, regulations, and internal policies (including 1099 reporting requirements) and System testing.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the A/P workflow, leveraging technology and best practices.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with internal auditors and provide necessary documentation during reviews and the annual audit process.
- Month-End Close: Oversee and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- 7 years experience in public accounting or related field
- 5 years supervisory
- Must have and preserve required licenses
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Must be able to travel based on business needs
