What We Offer
- Facilitates a variety of therapeutic activities, art therapy groups, and cognitive stimulation groups
- Responsible for researching new activities and implementing them into groups
- Must be able to maintain a sound therapeutic relationship with our consumers and utilize crisis intervention skills as needed
- Function as a team member; covering co-worker’s duties, including: van-driving, communicating consumer concerns to other team members
- Actively serves as a member of the treatment team and assists team members with other assigned duties
- Must be able to adhere to the organization’s documentation standards and complete updates in a timely manner
- BA/BS in recreational therapy, BA/BS in psychology, or a related field
- Certification in activity therapy desired
- Experience with the SPMI population desired
- Valid Driver’s License
