CBG Surveying is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our Garland office as a Customer Service Representative / Order Intake Coordinator. This role is essential in delivering an excellent client experience while ensuring accurate and efficient processing of survey orders.
With over 30 years of success in Texas, CBG Surveying is a trusted leader in land surveying, with offices in Dallas and Houston and continued growth ahead.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone, email, and chat
- Respond to inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and a customer-first approach
- Schedule land surveys, confirm appointments, and manage timelines
- Accurately enter, update, and track client orders in internal systems
- Coordinate with surveyors and internal teams to ensure smooth project flow
- Monitor orders from intake through completion and follow up as needed
- Provide clear information on services, pricing, and turnaround times
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating complex matters when appropriate
- Support administrative tasks and maintain organized communication
Requirements
- 2 years of customer service or administrative experience (surveying, title, construction, or real estate preferred)
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and order-entry/CRM systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
