Duties
- Load and unload packages from trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as EPJs.
- Operate RF scanners to accurately track inventory and update shipment records.
- Sort packages by size, weight, and destination to streamline shipping processes.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against documentation for accuracy.
- Maintain organized storage areas to facilitate efficient warehouse distribution.
- Use filing systems to document package movement, shipment logs, and inventory records.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely to move packages within the warehouse environment.
- Support warehouse operations by assisting with general duties such as packaging, labeling, and preparing items for dispatch.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50lbs consistently and safely throughout the shift.
- Proficiency with RF scanners or similar inventory management tools.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures to ensure accurate processing of packages.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
