The Assistant Virtual Design Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gainesville, VA. This role involves assisting in the development and management of virtual design and construction processes across projects. Daily tasks include coordinating architectural, structural, and mechanical design models, supporting construction teams with digital tools, and ensuring model accuracy and detailed documentation. The Assistant Virtual Design Manager will also collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance project efficiency through innovative design solutions.
- Proficiency in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and related software such as Revit and Navisworks
- Strong project coordination skills, including the ability to oversee and integrate architectural, structural, and mechanical design components
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to improving design processes
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Experience in the construction or design industry preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide effective support to on-site teams
