Job Description
Data Analyst gathers user requirements for database changes, analyzes database requirements, creates specifications for the ETL team to load the data to the database, participates in functional design sessions, creates and executes test scripts for the load of the database, and aids in the escalation/resolution of data issues.
The candidate must be familiar with the development lifecycle and must be proficient in querying databases via SQL or other tools.
Skills:
Expertise with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Ability to translate high level business requirements into database and ETL requirements (source to target mappings)
Ability to document business processes
Strong **SQL querying database.
Experience with **NoSQL databases** (JSON-based).
Proficiency in **Tableau**
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to multitask is critical
Knowledge of testing tools
Education/Work Experience:
1) Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
