Roastery Assistant

Job Summary

CBC Specialty Beverage is a leading national distributor of premium coffee, espresso, and tea to the foodservice industry. As we continue to experience rapid growth, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Roastery Team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coffee Roaster with daily roasting operations
• Weigh, stage, and prepare green coffee for production
• Package, label, and organize roasted coffee for customer orders
• Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on roasting and packaging equipment
• Conduct quality checks to ensure consistency in finished products
• Assist with receiving and storing green coffee shipments
• Keep roasting facility clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
• Support order fulfillment and shipping as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to operate safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Prior coffee experience is preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
