Summary/Objective
The role of the Loan Servicing Specialist is to help in the processing and collection of payments, customer communication and inquires by various media methods, handling of legal documents and communication with both Loan Originators and Investors.
Salary/Wage: $22.00 – 25.00 DOE (depending on experience)
Location: Onsite or In Office at South Jordan, UT office (required).
Essential Functions

- Handle inbound and outbound borrower calls related to various loan inquiries.
- Initiate collection efforts in written and verbal form, when needed.
- Accept, process and post payments received from the borrower.
- Provide customer service related to payments, insurance and taxes
- Document all discussions, actions and resolutions in the Servicing System of record as required by policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies compliance guidelines.
- Maintain a high degree of customer contact through inbound and outbound customer calls.
- Work with borrowers, internal departments, title companies, attorneys, loan originators and investors, as needed, to resolve customer and loan issues.
- Offer suggestions to management to improve and streamline processes.
- Meet applicable production goals as assigned by management.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment with continuous use and operation of computers, keyboards, sitting, and viewing a computer monitor. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, hours of work and days will range Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Required Education and Experience
1. High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent required.
2. One (1) year of financial service experience preferred.
3. Two (2) years’ experience in a customer service position.
4. Experience with compliance and/or servicing regulations preferred.
5. Experience in Mortgage Servicing preferred
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be authorized to legally work within the United States of America.
