Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialized CDL Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, specialized flatbeds, and van trailers . Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of freight across designated routes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills and contribute to our commitment to reliable logistics service. This position will require 1-2 nights per week on the road and home every weekend. Real ID and tanker endorsement is a plus. Driver must have at least (3) years of holding a class A CDL and a clean MVR. Some tarping and chaining required.
Duties
- Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to schedules, traffic laws, and safety protocols to ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns; report issues promptly for resolution.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations using ELD devises.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during routes.Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a focus on specialized vehicles such as tractor-trailers.
- Demonstrated ability to operate 13spd manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently.
- Delivery driver experience involving freight handling, route driving, load & unload procedures, and customer service.
- Familiarity with forklift operation for loading/unloading freight is preferred.
- Valid class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types operated (e.g., Tanker Endorsement).
Pay: $50,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
