CBTWO Architects, LLC is seeking a junior Designer to join our collaborative and creative team. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Collaborate with Design Principal and Project Architects to develop architectural concepts, design iterations, and 3D models
· Assist Project Architects and Project Managers in developing plans, elevations, sections, feasibility test fits, schedules, and details
· Coordinate with the CBTWO team and structural, MEP, civil, and interiors consultants across all project phases, from schematic design through construction administration, on residential, commercial, civic, and mixed-use projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience performing schematic design, design development and construction documents preferred
· A professional degree; NAAB accredited preferred
· Professional work experience in an architectural office preferred
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
· Self-motivated and willingness to take initiative
· A team player who is able to work autonomously as needed
· Ability to communicate with clients and/or consultants
· Ability to multitask, be proactive, learn quickly, ask questions, understand answers, be helpful and work hard
· Demonstrate attention to detail and a desire to perform at a high level
· Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry
· Good written and verbal communication skills
SOFTWARE:
· Proficiency with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
· Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
