Senior Banking Operations Manager

Operational Leader:

The Operational Leader for Branch Services is responsible for overseeing the operational activities of a branch, ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a team and ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and directing branch personnel to achieve operational objectives.
• Working closely with the Branch Sales Manager to review and process daily transactions, including EIM items and account payable items.
• Implementing and maintaining the Branch Security Plan, training staff on security procedures and monitoring the branch's security system.
• Monitoring and reporting technology issues at the branch location.
• Ensuring accurate processing and reporting of various tasks, including garnishments, tax levies, subpoenas, cash items, proof corrections, cash counts, CIP verifications, and counterfeit currency reports.
• Managing mail, night deposit logs, safe deposit boxes, collateral boxes, and balancing of negotiable instruments.

Responsibilities:

• Resolving customer complaints within the branch with assistance from the Branch Sales Manager as needed.
• Conducting branch audits and clearing any exceptions under the guidance of Branch Operations Administration.
• Ensuring branch personnel are in compliance with all policies and procedures related to Branch Operations, including record retention.
• Approving requisitions for purchasing supplies for the branch under the guidance of the Branch Sales Manager.
