A commercial salesperson at CB Flooring identifies, develops, and manages commercial flooring and tile opportunities on behalf of the company. This individual is responsible for building relationships with general contractors, developers, and significant end-use systems to assist them with their building finish needs. They create proposals, offer suggestions, negotiate contracts, compile change orders, and oversee our installations with the assistance of a project team.
Responsibilities
- Prospect; identify; and qualify good projects for the company
- Build relationships with general contractors; developers; end users; suppliers; architects; designers; and other industry professionals
- Assist clients with product selections; installation methods; and design
- Create cost estimates and proposals and deliver to clients
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions; and ensure accurate scopes of work
- Manage booked projects after award to ensure successful installation with the help of a project team
Requirements
- Must have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college
- Experience in the building materials industry or business to business sales in general
- A valid drivers license
- Willingness to travel in the local area as required
- Willingness to work in a commission-based structure
