Complex Litigation Associate (3-6 Years Experience)
CB Consulting Group, LLC is working with an AmLaw ranked law firm in Boston that is seeking a passionate and experienced associate with 3-6 years of complex litigation experience to join their Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. While the position is ideally based in Boston, other locations will be considered.
Responsibilities
This role involves litigating complex disputes from case filing through trial across a diverse range of industries, including technology, finance, life sciences, and energy. The team maintains a dynamic pipeline of fast-paced matters spanning commercial, trade secret, financial, energy, and product liability litigation. Associates in this role will take on significant responsibilities, including working directly with clients, managing complex cases, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trial work.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of complex litigation experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent legal research abilities
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- Highly motivated, dynamic, and creative with a strong team-oriented mindset
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Experience with depositions, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trial work
- Membership in the State Bar of the desired office location strongly preferred
Hours
There is no minimum billable hour requirement. However, to be in the best position to receive a merit bonus, associates are encouraged to achieve 1,950 bonus-eligible hours, of which at least 1,800 should be client billable. Pro bono time and firm creditable hours may also count toward bonus-eligible time.
