Skilled Carpenter
We are seeking a skilled and experienced residential carpenter to join our team. Our ideal candidate has at least 2-4 years of field experience and a strong background in high-end residential construction and remodeling. You will report directly to the lead carpenter.
Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of work
Inspect and repair damaged or faulty structures and fixtures
Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all safety regulations
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, following established safety guidelines and building codes
Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project completion within budget and schedule
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of field experience as a carpenter in residential projects
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Demonstrated proficiency in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials
Experience installing and repairing high-end residential structures and fixtures
Knowledge of safety guidelines and building codes
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Compensation:
$35-42 an hour based on experience
