Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to educating and inspiring young minds while ensuring a safe and engaging classroom atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum plans.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and physical development through engaging activities and play-based learning.
• Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and sensory activities while ensuring health and safety standards are rigorously maintained.
• Utilize behavior management skills to guide positive interactions among children and address individual behavioral needs with patience and understanding.
• Collaborate with families through regular communication about their child's progress, milestones and any concerns.
• Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and adapting teaching methods as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's (AA/AS) or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Infant/Toddler CDA
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues.
• A genuine passion for educating infants and toddlers and fostering their development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
