The financial analyst is responsible for producing current, forecasted, and historical financial data for internal and external decision makers. The position develops financial models for current and potential customers, performs cost analysis and cost accounting maintenance, and supports various strategic initiatives for the organization.
What you'll do:
- Cost assessment for new customers.
- Profitability assessment for current and potential customers.
- Non-recurring reporting requiring summarization of data, recommendations, and conclusions.
- Margin enhancement projects and waste identification.
- Build & Maintain cost accounting system and perform cost allocation studies.
- Haphazard review of invoice assignment to evaluate appropriateness.
- All other assigned duties
Minimum Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor's degree in accounting/business-related field.
Experience - Minimum of two years of employment experience in an accounting/business environment, preferably healthcare or Information Technology.
Licensure - N/A
Physical Requirements - 90% sitting 10% standing
Travel Requirements:
- Remote position with approximately 20% travel to Ithaca, New York as needed
Reporting Structure:
- Reports directly to the Finance Manager
- No direct reports at this time
Salary Range:
- $65,000-78,000k
