Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize lumber and building materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts
- Safely operate warehouse machinery including
- Assist with order picking, shipping, and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Maintain proper stacking and storage of materials to optimize space and prevent damage or safety hazards
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment like forklifts, adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Support warehouse distribution activities by handling heavy lifting tasks and materials transfer with mechanical knowledge
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or construction environments with a focus on materials handling
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety practices
