As the Practice Manager at Cayuga Immediate Care and Cortland Urgent Care, core outcomes include efficient clinic operations, high patient satisfaction, and financial stability. Impacts encompass improved healthcare delivery and staff productivity, while key performance indicators involve patient wait times, service quality ratings, and adherence to budget targets.
Roles And Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a fiscal plan for the practice, monitor patient revenues, and control operating expenses
Ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and resolve complaints within required time frames
Facilitate staff hiring, training, and ongoing professional development
Oversee regulatory compliance, including timely audits and updates on state regulations affecting the practice
Lead process improvement initiatives and manage operational changes effectively
Required Skills And Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting
Experience in budget management and financial reporting for healthcare practices (3 years)
Strong leadership skills, including team management and staff development (3 years)
In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit processes (2 years)
Experience with patient satisfaction initiatives and customer service strategies (2 years)
Preferred Skills And Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in healthcare management
Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE)
Advanced degree in healthcare administration or a related field
Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement training
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office
Physical Requirements

Standing: Up to 40%
Reaching: Up to 10%
Bending: Up to 10%
Lifting: Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Potential exposure to communicable diseases through patient interaction.

Onsite: Immediate Care- 401 Cayuga Park Lane, Ithaca, NY 14850 & Cortland Urgent Care- 1129 Commons Ave, Cortland, NY 13045
Shift: 40 hours a week and available to support the practice with calls after hours or weekends
Travel: 50% Travel required between locations based on office needs
Compensation Disclosure
$93,641 to $130,000 per year
