Nurse Manager Behavioral Services

Roles And Responsibilities
- Accomplish nurse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, educating, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; communicating job expectations, adhere to policies and procedures.
- Fosters an environment that promotes a spirit of inquiry and continuous quality improvement. Assists in the design and implementation of programs which evaluate the efficacy of treatment.
- Monitor and assure the compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies.
- Promote, monitor and implement the concepts of quality management and evidence based practice. Monitor service areas, recommend approaches for improvement activities, design new processes, collect and measure data, review and report performance over time, improve and redesign processes based on the evaluation and reassess continuously.
- Provide programmatic leadership of the clinical component of assigned areas to ensure quality patient care outcomes.
- Develop implement goals, standards, policies, educational programs, procedures and practices of clinical care in alignment with strategic plan.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- A Master's degree preferred (MSN, MBA, MHA, or leadership focused)
- RN License in the State of New York
- 2 years of experience in specialty area.
- Previous nurse manager or assistant nurse manager experience
