What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker/Cleaner position at Cayuga Counseling Services Inc?
Cayuga Counseling Services, Inc. seeks a Part Time (20 hours per week) Maintenance Worker/Cleaner. The Maintenance Worker/Cleaner will assist in the daily upkeep of building and grounds, including cleaning Cayuga Counseling Services, Inc. office's and fulfilling work orders and other tasks including moving large items, furniture assembly and painting.
The Maintenance Worker/Cleaner will be responsible for the following duties:
- Daily cleaning in all common areas, offices, bathrooms, conference rooms including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning and carpet shampooing.
- Move large item such as desks, file boxes and other furniture when assigned.
- Complete work orders which can include assembling furniture, moving offices, painting, and hanging items on walls.
- Complete trash and refuse removal.
- Maintain records as required.
Qualified candidates:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A working knowledge of basic maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently handle multiple priorities.
- Strong time management, organizational and follow up skills.
- Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
- Must Have Valid NYS Driver License.
