Duties
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Workday or Taleo
- Facilitate employee orientation sessions to onboard new hires effectively and ensure they understand company policies and benefits
- Support employee evaluation processes by gathering data, coordinating performance reviews, and assisting with performance management systems like SAP SuccessFactors or UltiPro
- Manage benefits administration tasks including enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, workers' compensation, and other employee benefits using platforms like ADP or Paychex
- Maintain accurate HRIS (Human Resources Information System) records and perform data entry tasks to ensure data integrity across systems such as Oracle HCM or Ceridian
- Assist with compliance activities related to employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and change management initiatives
- Contribute to employee relations efforts by addressing inquiries professionally, supporting conflict management processes, and promoting positive workplace communication
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles with familiarity in human capital management systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or Kronos
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and HR sourcing strategies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of talent acquisition tools including ATS platforms like iCIMS or Lever is preferred
- Experience with training & development programs, employee orientation, and performance management processes is highly desirable
- Proficiency in data collection, reporting tools, social media management for recruitment purposes, and administrative experience in HR functions
