What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Dental Assistant position at Cavity Patrol Pediatric Dentistry?

Customer service and computer skills are a must. Dental and X-Ray experience NECESSARY. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 year dental assisting experience, Coronal polish, sealant certified, and maintain CPR certification. Previous pediatric experience preferred!
Two locations: Cypress and Katy location
Working hours are: 4 days week

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Dental Assisting: 2 year in Pediatric experience
License/Certification:
- Registered Dental Assistant
- X-Ray Certification
- Nitrous Certification
- Sealant Certification
- Coronal Polish Certification
Responsibilities:
- Work under the general supervision and guidance of a dentist
- Provide chair side assistance to the Dentist during dental examinations and treatment
- Charting during dental examination
- Ability to take X-rays
- Sterilize and maintain instruments, as well as the Sterilization Area
- Set up and break down operatory
- Assist with supply inventory and ordering
- Maintain a clean and professional office environment
- Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- Work as part of a team with emphasis on communication
- Coronal Polish/ sealant certification
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
