OVERVIEW
This position will require individual to monitor and ensure compliance as well as all food safety regulations while operating sanitation handling of HACCP. The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, have great communication skills, and work along with production and management personnel. Work conditions will vary depending of duties assigned; however majority of shift will be spend in cold weather conditions
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties will include but not limited to:
-Conduct Pre-operational inspection of equipment and facilities as required.
-Monitor and document the quality of raw materials, packing, and finished product.
-Ability to assess product to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
-Ability to communicate with line employees and staff in a positive professional manner.
-Follow instructions and assist in other duties as assigned by QA Management.
-Monitor plant personnel and facility on a daily basis to help ensure compliance to all food safety regulations and programs
-Responsible for notifying appropriate plant management personnel of any deficiencies found and to take appropriate action as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
-High School Diploma or equivalent required
-Knowledgeable with computers; tablets a plus.
-Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
-Good work history required
-Previous QA experience required
-Bilingual a plus
- Must have basic math and computer skills, and able to read and analyze/process charts, graphs, and logs
- Must have good analytical and logical problem-solving skills
