What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hides - Cueros position at Caviness Beef Packers?
Overview
Must be able to work in any of the positions available in the Hides Department. Working conditions are wet/damp with temperatures higher than 75 degrees. Ability to lift at least 70 lbs and work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Stand for extended periods on concrete/ elevated work platforms
- Must tolerate hot/humid indoor working conditions- 75 degrees
- Lift 80 lbs. repetitive motions
- Able to work required shift schedule – i.e. Monday thru Sunday and overtime hours
- Use required safety equipment
- Ascend/descend stairs, ladders, trucks, trailers, and tractors
- Walk on uneven/ unstable/ wet/ slippery surfaces
- Trimming, stacking, fisher, and flasher
