We are recruiting for a Leasing Professional to join our team to play a key role in our on-site leasing staff. The Leasing Professional is a full-time position with the primary responsibility of building relationships with current and prospective residents, diligently pursuing all leads and closing the sales. Leasing Professionals act as mentors and coaches to the Part-Time Community Assistants and work with the Leasing & Marketing Manager to ensure all sales and marketing goals are met or exceeded. The Leasing Professional is a natural salesperson and people-person who has a knack for social media and other marketing initiatives.

Your Mission
Support the Leasing & Marketing Manager to ensure occupancy and leasing goals are met for the community
Lead by example for junior and part-time leasing staff
Leasing
Drive day-to-day leasing goals onsite at the community, interacting with prospective residents via phone, e-mail, and in person, conducting tours, diligently pursuing the close of each sale, performing follow ups, and completing leasing paperwork with prospective residentsUnderstand and be able to explain the lease in its entiretyUnderstand and abide by the leasing policies and company standardsMaintain confidentiality in all job responsibilities as it pertains to staff and tenantsStock office with marketing materials each morningKnow all amenities and features of the property and how to favorably compare them to the competitionReport to Leasing & Marketing Manager each day regarding leasing traffic, prospect objections, and effectiveness of marketing and sales strategies
Marketing and Public Relations
Assist with the execution of the marketing campaignsAttend local events that are related to housing or the general marketing of the communityProvide ideas to Leasing team for advertising/marketing tactics throughout the yearMaintain a positive and professional relationship with every potential resident and guest in order to spread positive word of mouthPositively represent the property both on and off the clock
Accounting/Legal
Ensure that all lease files are accurate, complete, and organizedAccept application fees and security deposit payments from future residents and follow procedure regarding documentation and storage of payments
Property and Maintenance
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the show unit(s), tour route and leasing office
Resident Relations
Provide outstanding customer service for all residentsInput service requests in accordance with company standardsCommunicate policies and procedures to residents
Turnover
Prepare necessary documents/packets for move-out and move-inAssist with any tasks assigned to contribute to Turn process
Your Track Record
Leasing and sales experience strongly preferred; strong aptitude and interest in a wide range of marketing platforms
Experience with Entrata or similar systems preferred
Social media and digital marketing experience preferred
Experience in the student or residential housing industry preferred
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills required
