Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of barbering and hairstyling services including cuts, beard trims, blowouts and styling.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or treatments based on hair type.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon policies.
- Use salon software like SQUARE to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, addressing client questions, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
- Assist with front desk duties including appointment booking, check-in/out procedures, and managing client flow.
- Stay current with industry trends in barbering and hair styling to continually refine your craft.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license required
- Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, or related beauty services with a strong portfolio of work.
- Skilled in advanced techniques including , straight razor shaves
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean work environment.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and understand their styling preferences.
