Warehouse Assistant

Schedule: 8a-4p.

During peak season (October 15 – December 15) employees are required to work a minimum of 45 hours per week. Additional overtime may be available or required depending on workload.
Pay: $16.00/hour (non-exempt; overtime at 1.5×)
Employment: Full-time or Part-time (expected 20–40 hrs/week)

From our 64,000 sq. ft. warehouse, we run a high-volume e-commerce operation where we also refurbish and restore video games and systems. Our team thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, and we take pride in bringing nostalgia and fun to customers across the country.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away inventory in correct locations, sometimes using RF scanners
• Print and apply barcode labels to products
• Package and prepare products and customer orders for shipment
• Palletize and stage inbound and outbound freight
• Assist with cycle counts and periodic physical inventories
• Maintain clean and organized aisles, workstations, and staging areas
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse or other company operations

Requirements

• Self-motivated and able to work independently for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and adaptable as processes evolve
• Effective communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
• Availability to work extra hours during peak season (October 15 – December 15), with a minimum of 45 hours per week required
• Must be able to pass a post-offer background check and drug screen

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous warehouse experience (stowing, picking/packing, pallet jacks, forklifts)
• Familiarity with RF scanners and basic label printers
• Basic computer skills, including printing labels, simple data entry, and Microsoft Excel

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting without air conditioning; heated during the winter
• Fast-paced atmosphere with periods of independent work
• Standing, walking, lifting, and moving throughout most of the shift
• Exposure to varying noise levels, equipment, and freight movement
