What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Assistant position at Cavco Manufacturing LLC?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR and production functions and duties
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations etc)
- Coordinate HR projects (dinners, celebrations, meetings, training, surveys etc)
- Assist with employee requests regarding human resources issues
- Assist in payroll as a back-up role
- Maintain confidentiality as circumstances warrant
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
- Assist recruiting to source candidates and keep database updated
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in HR-related field or equivalent experience preferred
- 5 years' related administrative experience
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Solid understanding of MS Office
- Experience with UKG / UltiPro payroll software is preferred
- Familiar with applicant tracking database systems preferred
