The Position

We are looking for the right individual to join our Customer Relations team and be primarily responsible for reviewing fraud claims (disputes). The position is a great opportunity for an individual to learn about consumer credit. Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing fraud disputes through the examination of supporting documentation, account data, internet research, or other information sources
• Determining whether a fraud claim meets the Company’s criteria for fraud or not
• Reviewing and responding to fraud disputes received through the major credit bureaus through the e-Oscar system
• Performing other dispute investigation as needed
• Reporting relevant trends and issues identified to management

The ideal candidate must have:

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong reading comprehension skills
• Working knowledge and experience using MS Office
• A high level of work ethic and integrity

Prior experience in a highly regulated field is very helpful.

Additionally candidates should be reliable and accountable, someone who can keep cool in a fast paced, high pressure environment and be a team player.

• Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable but not necessary

Cavalry is located in a Class A multi-tenant office space with great amenities including a free gym and onsite cafe.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
