This is a great opportunity for an experienced auditor or someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field to enter the field of Compliance/Auditing.
Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the Audit Associate is to assist with the planning and execution of a timely, independent, comprehensive and effective internal audit program. Hybrid with 3 days currently in office.
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in identifying and evaluating the organization's risks and providing input to the development of the annual risk assessment and audit plan.
- Performing audits in accordance with the Company's Internal Audit Charter, policies & procedures, and industry accepted auditing standards.
- Drafting audit reports of findings, observations, and recommendations and coordinating audit responses and follow up.
- Assisting with the evaluation of internal controls implemented by the operating functions of the company.
- Evaluating compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures as well as federal, state and local rules, laws and regulations.
- Assisting in developing presentations and material for management reporting and communicating audit results via written reports and oral presentations.
- Behaving in a manner that is consistent with the core values of the company and professional standards.
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills/qualifications preferred:
- CIA, MS with 2-5 years of experience as an Internal Auditor.
- Experience in consumer financial services, debt collection or the acquisition of consumer receivables.
- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
- Compliance and quality control knowledge.
- Strong business acumen.
Skills/qualifications needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
- High attention to detail.
- Sound independent judgement.
- Strong analytical skills/ability.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
