DFW-based General Contractor (specializing in Insurance Restoration) has an immediate opportunity for a full-time, Mitigation Technician who is hardworking and reliable. Mitigation Technician Responsibilities:
- Water extraction and removal of damaged materials
- Setting up and monitoring drying equipment
- Fire / Water/ Mold/ Smoke Remediation / Emergency Services
- Be customer service oriented and have strong communication skills
- Keep organized with projects and equipment
- Must be a reliable, punctual, and self-motivated individual
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Must follow safe work practices always
- Maintain all company equipment (keeping it cleaned and well organized)
Mitigation Technician Ideal Qualifications:
- IICRC certification preferred
- Driver’s license and a dependable vehicle
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to complete demo work, set-up drying equipment, & monitor the drying process
- Ability to lift 50 pounds (job requires walking, standing, stooping, bending and moving some furniture)
- Ability to be on call / Some after hours and weekends will be required on rotation basis
- Valid Work Authorization for the United States
- Ability to travel
