We are seeking Machine Operators that take pride in their work and have great eye for detail with inspecting products that are being manufactured for many customers. This is an entry-level position.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Attend semi-automatic and manual machines to facilitate machine operation; de-gate and de-flash parts as required; Perform light assembly operations; inspect and package parts/products as required. Understand and comply with work orders.
- Perform secondary operations on parts, such as drilling, reaming, etc.
- Practice safe work habits and keep work areas clean.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify issues and communicate with the supervisor and coworkers.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Plastics background preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically able to perform job duties such as holding minute parts, able to utilize trimming tools, eye for detail.
- Prolonged periods on foot/moving/working on equipment.
- Must be able to push, pull, contort, manual dexterity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
