The Role: We are looking for a Trailer Repair Technician to join our shop. In this role, you will handle the maintenance and repair of light-duty trailers and perform aftermarket installations on customer vehicles.

What You’ll Do:
- Trailer Maintenance: Diagnose and repair a variety of light-duty trailers, including servicing and replacing brakes, hubs, suspension components, axles, and tires.
- Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair trailer lighting and wiring issues.
- Installations: Install trailer hitches, wiring harnesses, and in-cab brake control units on cars, trucks, and SUVs.
- Quality Control: Perform comprehensive safety inspections to ensure every vehicle and trailer leaves the shop road-ready.
- Customer Service: Explain repairs to customers clearly and maintain a professional, friendly attitude.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and perform other shop duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Mechanically Inclined: Previous automotive/trailer experience is preferred, OR you have a natural talent for fixing things and a serious willingness to learn. Experience with fabrication and welding is a plus.
- Detail-Oriented: You take pride in doing the job right the first time. You double-check your work, especially when it comes to safety components like brakes and hitches.
- Organized: You can keep your workspace clean and manage your time effectively during a busy day.
- People Person: You have solid communication skills and are comfortable interacting with customers.
- Reliable: You have reliable transportation to get to work on time and a valid Driver’s License.
- Physical Capabilities: Able to lift up to 75 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in varied positions (stooping, bending, kneeling).

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
