Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor
Position Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment throughout Cavalier Healthcare. This position performs environmental cleaning duties in accordance with facility policies and established housekeeping standards to promote the health, safety, and well-being of residents, visitors, and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties with attention to detail to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout assigned areas.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in all assigned resident care areas and facility spaces.
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment is clean, properly maintained, and in safe working condition at all times.
- Remove trash and soiled linens from assigned areas and safely transport them to designated disposal or collection locations. Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Work collaboratively as a member of the Housekeeping team and assist other departments as needed.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic with a commitment to quality, customer service, and resident satisfaction.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Floor care experience, including stripping and waxing floors, is preferred.
- Maintain reliable attendance and demonstrate flexibility in meeting scheduling and operational needs.
- Our Housekeepers display a big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents.
- No housekeeping experience, but is a plus.
