Store Manager

About Us:

Cavalier Cleaners is expanding to Berea! We will be opening on Front St . Where Master Cleaners has been in business for many years.

We are a busy dry cleaning drop store providing top-quality service and fast, friendly customer care. As a key link between our customers and the cleaning plant, we pride ourselves on accuracy, professionalism, and a welcoming environment.

We’re currently seeking a responsible and customer-focused Drop Store Manager to lead our front-end operations and ensure smooth day-to-day performance.

Hours are

Monday - Friday

12 noon - 7pm (35 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist with drop-off and pick-up of garments

• heat seal and inspect incoming garments for stains, damage, or special care needs

• Maintain accurate records and ensure all orders are properly tracked

• Manage daily transactions using the POS system and handle cash/credit payments

• Communicate clearly with the main plant to ensure timely processing and delivery

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, claims and special requests

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-store

• Open and close the store as needed (covering call offs)

• Hire, train and supervise any front counter staff

• Keep track of supplies and notify upper management when stock needs replenishing

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or dry cleaning (preferred but not required)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and work independently

• Basic computer skills (POS systems experience a plus)

• Reliable and punctual

• Fluent in English (Spanish a plus)

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
