Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst at CAVA plays a key role in delivering strategic financial insights that drive decision-making across the organization. This role supports company-wide planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis, helping to translate data into action. As part of the FP&A team, the Senior Analyst partners cross-functionally to ensure financial plans are aligned with operational execution and supports leadership with clear, timely analysis and recommendations. This is a high-visibility position for a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do:

· Serve as the primary finance business partner for G&A functional leaders, providing financial guidance and decision support across departments including Real Estate, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain.

· Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly close processes for G&A expense categories, ensuring alignment with company financial objectives.

· Support financial analysis for new restaurant development, including site-level pro forma modeling, ROI analysis, and investment recommendations.

· Provide timely, actionable analysis and insights on key financial and operational metrics.

· Develop and deliver analysis, reports, and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.

· Perform variance analyses to understand drivers of performance against budget, forecast, and prior year.

· Assist in preparation of materials for internal leadership reviews and external reporting needs.

· Contribute to monthly and quarterly business reviews by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

· Support strategic initiatives and investment decisions through robust financial modeling and business case analysis.

· Continuously improve FP&A processes, systems, and tools for scale and efficiency.

· Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through coordination with accounting and other stakeholders.

· Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses that support the broader goals of the FP&A team and the Finance organization.

· Champion CAVA’s mission and values by modeling collaboration, ownership, and curiosity.

The Qualifications:

Education & Experience

· 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields.

· Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills.

· Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency in Excel and financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or similar); experience with BI tools a plus.

· Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data for diverse audiences.

· Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CPA a plus.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment

· Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details

· For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds

· Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively

· Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable

· Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
